We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming event in our „International Series: Korea and the United Nations,“ which will focus on Korea’s role as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2024-2025. This is a critical time for Korea, as it navigates complex global challenges and contributes to maintaining international peace and security through its seat on the Council.

Our esteemed guest, H.E. Lim Sang-beom, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, will provide insights into Korea’s diplomatic priorities and initiatives within the UN. A representative from the Federal Foreign Office (TBC) will join the discussion to share additional perspectives on the country’s contributions and its broader role within the multilateral system. The conversation will be moderated by Doris Hertrampf, a member of our Board of Directors and former diplmonat.
